Add universities and programmes

Build your organization's own list of universities, programmes, fees, scholarships and deadlines for your team and partners to choose from.

  • 5 min
  • 6 steps
  • For organizations

Every organization keeps its own catalogue. It starts empty, and only a university on your list can be added to a student. Owners, admins and members whose role has the “Manage catalogue” permission add and edit it; the rest of your team and your partners can read it.

  1. 1

    1Step 1

    Open Universities

In the sidebar, open “Universities”. Each card shows the city, the levels offered, the deadline for an open intake, the number of programmes and the application fee.

Search by name, city or programme, or filter by level, province and fee. Click a card to open the university's details.

The Universities page: search and filters, Show closed, Show hidden and Add university, and two university cards with their deadline and application fee.

  2. 2

    2Step 2

    Add a university

Press “Add university”. In “Add a university”, type the Name (the only required field), City, Province, Website and “Application fee (CNY)”. Leave the fee empty or 0 when the university charges none. Press “Add”.

The new university's details open, ready for its programmes.

The Add a university dialog with Name, City, Province, Website and Application fee (CNY).

  3. 3

    3Step 3

Add the fees and the deadline

In the university's details, press “Edit”. Besides the name and fee, you can add a note for partners on how to pay, the “Application deadline” (for example May 30), the “Intake month”, tuition per level (Bachelor, Master, PhD, Non-degree), and the accommodation, insurance, medical check and visa extension fees. Press “Save”.

Tip: A deadline typed without a year counts for each intake: for a September 2027 intake, June 30 means 30 June 2027. A deadline left empty, or one that cannot be read as a date, counts as open.

  4. 4

    4Step 4

    Add programmes and scholarships

Still in the university's details, press “Add” next to Programmes. Fill in the “Programme name”, Level, Language, Duration, “Yearly tuition” and “Intake month”, then press “Add programme”.

Press “Add” next to Scholarships to record one: its name, the programme it belongs to (optional), the amount and currency, how long it lasts, what it covers and who is eligible.

  5. 5

    5Step 5

Or work from the Programs page

“Programs” in the sidebar lists every programme at all your universities, with tuition, duration, intake and deadline. Press “Add programme”, pick the University and fill in the same details, plus the application fee and the requirements.

Filter by level, language or province, and sort by university, tuition or deadline. “Show deleted” lists the programmes you deleted, each with “Restore”.

The Programs page: level filters, Show closed, Show deleted and Add programme, and four programme cards with tuition, duration, intake and deadline.

  6. 6

    6Step 6

    Know what “closed” means

A university or programme whose deadline has passed for every open intake is closed. It leaves the lists and the university picker used when adding a student; “Show closed” brings the closed ones back into view.

If a university has agreed to take a late application, an owner or admin can still add it to a student with “Add anyway, past the deadline”. Partners and other members cannot, even with “Manage catalogue”.

Tip: “Delete” on a university only hides it. Students already linked keep its name, and “Show hidden” lists it again with “Restore”.

What you have now

Your organization now has its own list of universities and programmes, with fees and deadlines, ready to add to students.
